Microsoft Announces 40 New Indie Game Demos for Xbox Consoles

Microsoft today announced demos for 40 new independent game titles coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One over the next seven days.

“We are excited to showcase 40 awesome demos of unreleased games on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One,” Microsoft’s Jessica Ronnell writes. “Just like last year’s Summer Game Demo event, you can download and play these in the comfort of your own home between June 15 – 21.”

The playable demos will be available starting today, with more becoming available each day over the next week. The following games will be available during the 2012 ID@Xbox Summer Game Demo Fest:

    <p>This is the problem with Microsoft owning game studios. Sunday big splashy announcement with videos die the titles they are making fox X-box x. And the indie titles get a press release a few days later. The indie titles always get screwed by the big guys.</p>

    <p>These seem fun based on their names, but I feel exhausted just thinking about clicking on each of these, waiting for a web page to open, read, move on, etc</p><p><br></p><p>Would it kill MS to put a blurb about each one in their press release? Indicate if it is couch co-op or multiplayer. That’s a key thing for me with these indie games as they often shine for that kind of gameplay. </p>
