Microsoft Announces Designed for XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection

To celebrate 25 years of XBOX, Microsoft announced a collection of hardware peripherals inspired by the original console.

“To help celebrate 25 years of XBOX, the Designed for XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection is now available for preorder,” XBOX’s Jessica Elliott-Domain writes. “Inspired by the original console, this set pairs nostalgic translucent green with design details that honor 25 years of XBOX.”

Oddly, none of the peripherals are made by XBOX, though Microsoft is rumored to be offering an Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition this holiday season. Instead, each is made by a different hardware partner. Key devices include:

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K – XBOX 25 Anniversary Edition mouse. This wireless ergonomic mouse provides a Razer Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 sensor, 4-way scroll wheel, and 140 hours of battery life.

Razer BlackWidow V4 75% – XBOX 25 Anniversary Edition keyboard. This wired compact keyboard has hot-swappable mechanical keys with Razer Chroma RGB and a new “XBOX” key for launching the Game Bar in Windows.

Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed – XBOX 25 Anniversary Edition earbuds. These gaming earbuds deliver low-latency 2.4 GHz audio across phones, tablets, PCs, and other devices and up to 35 hours of battery life (10 hours continuous, plus the charging case).

8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock for XBOX Controllers—X25 Special Edition. This controller charging dock is compatible with XBOX Series X|S and XBOX One wireless controllers.

Backbone Pro XBOX 25th Anniversary Edition. This phone controller is available in Iconic Blue, Bold Orange, and Crystal Clear colors.

GameSir X5 Lite for XBOX. This phone controller comes in a translucent green anniversary color, provides Apple MFi certification, and works with iPhones and Android phones.

PowerA XBOX Sling Bag. Designed to fit ROG XBOX Ally gaming handhelds, this backpack has cable pass-through and elastic mesh pockets.
