Games with Gold for July Goes Live a Day Early

Posted on June 30, 2018 by Paul Thurrott in Games, Xbox 360, Xbox One with 4 Comments

The first two free games in next month’s Games with Gold promotion are now available, a day earlier than expected.

As a reminder, the Games with Gold promotion provides free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games each month for those with Xbox Live Gold memberships. All Xbox 360 games in this promotion also work on Xbox One in Backward Compatibility mode too. So Xbox One users with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions are technically getting at least four free games each month.

Man, woof, woof. I'd rather see some repeats thrown in for people who just joined. Maybe throw in some non-game extras, like DLC or soundtracks with repeat free games.

When will they combine Gold and Games Pass I wonder?
