Microsoft has been aggressively pushing its Xbox Game Pass subscription service lately. The company today announced that it’s bringing Minecraft to Xbox Game Pass, allowing subscribers to play the game for free on their Xbox One or Windows 10 device.

Minecraft will be joining other major titles like Forza, Crackdown, Sea of Thieves, and more on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has been constantly adding major titles to Xbox Game Pass over the last few months, and it’s getting major titles almost every month at this point.

“Since its launch in 2009, the Minecraft community has remained one of the most active and passionate in gaming, attracting over 91 million players of all ages from virtually every country in the world. Those joining through Xbox Game Pass will enter a vibrant, global community that plays across 20 unique platforms like Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and mobile,” Microsoft said.

Minecraft will be available on April 4 for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. You will also get access to all the free Minecraft content updates.

Hopefully the "Super Duper" upgrade is getting closer to release, They are certainly trying to increase the value of Game Pass which would be a clear sign they plan to integrate that into a streaming service available for other platforms.
