Microsoft Announces Two New Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Bundles

If you were put off by the garish Xbox One S Gears of War 4 2 TB Bundle but still wanted to show off your Coalition colors, here’s some good news: Microsoft has announced two new Gears of War 4 bundles that feature less controversial console designs.

“We are excited to add two more console bundles to experience a new chapter in one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history,” Xbox general manager Matt Lapsen writes in a new post to the Xbox Wire blog. “Both bundles are available for pre-order starting today.”

Here are the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 bundles:

Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Bundle. This bundle features a standard white Xbox One S console with a 1 TB hard drive, a matching white Xbox Wireless Controller, and a full-game download for Gears of War 4 (which includes Xbox Play Anywhere rights for Windows 10 as well). It costs $349 and will be available on October 11.

Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition Bundle. This bundle will ship on October 11 in the US and Australia only and includes a special edition deep blue Xbox One S console with a 500 GB hard drive, a matching deep blue Xbox Wireless Controller, and a copy of Gears of War 4 (it’s disc-based in the US and download-only in Australia). It will be available exclusively via GameStop and Microsoft Stores in the US, and at EB Games and Microsoft Stores in Australia, and will cost $299 (USD).

Xbox One S Gears of War 4 2 TB Bundle. Announced back in July, this bundle includes a gross-looking crimson red Xbox One S Limited Edition 2 TB console complete with fake scratch marks, a matching Limited Edition Crimson Omen controller, Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition with various in-game exclusives, and more. It costs $449, is available for pre-order now, and ships October 7. That means you get early access to the game, too.

Note: If you purchase the when Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Bundle or the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition Bundle, you will also get the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection for Xbox One at no additional cost. Nice! (This is a limited-time offer.)

I'm always partial to red and black. I've just always liked it. I see nothing wrong with the new Gears console.

Those GOW 4 ones look pretty cool, nice that the 2TB model is only $449.  I think some people who already own and Xbox One or Xbox One S might want to check out Skin It to add their style to their console, and controller.

I got the special edition 2TB bundle, I guess we will see how it actually looks in person. I am still trying to get through the first Gears of War remastered version. Speaking of going in all the way, I also ordered the themed GOW elite controller, so if the scheme sucks it will be a expensive mistake!

Ordered the GoW 2Tb set (plus GoW Elite Controller).

Not that I really need yet another xbox, but it jut looks too damn cool!
