Pandora Premium and Deezer Land on Google Home, Smart Displays

Google is adding support for Pandora Premium and Deezer to its Assistant-powered devices. The company today announced that both the music streaming services are now available on Google Home, as well as Smart Displays powered by Assistant.

With support for Pandora Premium, users can now play music from their Pandora account on Google’s Home speakers or Smart Displays. They can also use their voice to control the playback, and Pandora is offering lyric searching abilities as well — so you will be able to search for songs you only know the lyrics to. It’s pretty neat for when you know parts of a song, but don’t exactly know the artist or the title of the track.

Deezer’s addition will also be welcome to users who enjoy HiFi music. The service’s premium users will be able to play music on the Google home. But they can also now play high fidelity music if they subscribe to Deezer’s HiFi option.
