Google Confirms the Different Colors of the Pixel 3

We are less than a month away from Google’s official hardware event in October. The company is expected to introduce a bunch of new hardware, including new Pixel phones and potential new Chromebooks at the event. Ahead of the event, though, most of the new Pixel phones have already leaked.

Google even teased the Pixel 3 on its official store recently, and now it has confirmed the official colors of the device. Droid Life has spotted a Google website that is teasing the new Pixel 3. The site looks very simple at first, but clicking on the G changes the color of the site, showing off the three different colors of the headset: Mint, White, and Black.

The site even confirms the new two-tone Mint color of the device, along with the usual two-tone white and black variants which already looked really good on the Pixel 2. The controversial notch of the Pixel 3 is, however, missing on the renders of the device, and that’s probably intentional. Either way, we will get to see the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL on October 9, so keep your eye out for that.

To notch or not to notch, that is the question.

Because it appears all the leaked renders and photos over the last six months of the Google device depicting a notch were deliberately planted/leaked, in an attempt to mock the just released trio of iNotches, as it now seems the Pixel 3 shall not have a notch after all.

Sense seems to have prevailed at Google.

I will likely be criticizing whatever they put out until maybe 1.5 years from now when I pick one up on ebay for < $200 and think its great, just like the pixel 1 I have now.

Gonna be bummed if they drop the black/white combo with the orange button. That was a really good looking phone.

I fail to see how any of this is a confirmation of anything from Google. Maybe my idea of what "confirms" means is off?
