eBay Now Lets Customers Pay With Google Play

eBay is introducing support for Google Pay as a payment option on its marketplace. The company announced on Thursday that it’s rolling out Google Pay as a payment option on its website and Android app.

Google Pay will be joining Apple Pay as one of the other modern payment options. The new payment methods are only available for products from sellers enrolled in eBay’s new payments experiences that aims to simplify the purchasing experience on the site.

With the addition of Google Pay users will easily be able to pay for things on eBay from their phone, or their computer, without needing to manually enter their card details and simply use the details from their Google Pay wallet. For ages, eBay has relied mostly on PayPal for payments on its platform, and moving to systems like Apple and Google Pay is definitely a breath of fresh air. And you know, actual, simple, painless payments that you don’t really get with PayPal.
