Google has refreshed the look and feel of its Search results page to include Material Design icons next to the category filters.
OK, it’s a very subtle change, and you probably wouldn’t even notice it unless you live in Google Search. But the change is part of a broader Material Design makeover that Google is making across its various apps and services.

In the previous version of Google’s Search results page, the category tabs at the top—All, News, Videos, and so on—were just text. In the new version, each is accompanied by an icon that uses Google’s Material Design style. And the currently selected category is colorized using Google’s logo colors.
Exciting, I know.
