Today, Google announced that it’s giving some love to owners of its year-old Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen).
“Today we’re rolling out four new Farsight faces for your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen), for custom looks that blend beautifully into your home,” Google designer Maggie Banks writes. “The highlight is a special collaboration with artist Mathilde Loubes. Known for her beautiful animated films, Mathilde created a Farsight face that turns your thermostat’s stunning, borderless display into a piece of art. Her new seasonal face is a living canvas in your home, offering 12 unique, animated illustrations of flowers and fruits that update each month.”

The other three faces are a classic Nest face (a throwback to the original thermostat), a minimalist face (“an understated, elegant option”), and a new temperature controller face for quick, at-a-glance adjustments. These new faces are in addition to the current Farsight faces, which include digital and analog clocks and the current weather display.
You can check out the new faces in your thermometer settings, Google says.
