Google I/O 2026 Set For May 19-20

Google today announced that its annual I/O technical conference will be held May 19-20, 2026 this year.

“See you all at Google I/O starting May 19th!” Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted.

As with the previous several Google I/O’s, I/O 2026 will be held at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California and online at io.google. Google promises to show off its “latest AI breakthroughs and updates in products across the company, from Gemini to Android and more” at the show, as expected. And it will feature “keynote addresses from Google leaders, fireside chats, product demos, and more.”

If you want to sign up for Google I/O now, even if you’re just going to attend virtually, you can do so on the Google I/O 2026 website, which offers “a playground of experiences built with Gemini” that you can “play, create and remix your way through.”
