Google’s parent company reported that it earned a net income of $28 billion on revenues of $120 billion in the quarter ending June 30, 2026. Those figures represent gains of 97.6 percent and 24 percent, respectively, year-over-year (YOY).
“Our AI investments are redefining what’s possible across every part of our business,” Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai said. “Q2 was an amazing quarter, with Alphabet revenues growing 24 percent year-over-year and Google Cloud revenues accelerating to 82 percent growth, driven by demand for AI infrastructure and AI solutions. It’s great to see wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise, with nearly 90 percent of the Fortune 100 using it.”
Google Services delivered most of the company’s revenues as always, with a total of $94.5 billion, up 14.5 percent YOY, $81.6 billion of which came from advertising across Google Search, YouTube, and Google Network. So advertising accounted for 68 percent of total company revenues.
Google subscriptions, platforms, and devices contributed $12.9 billion in revenues, a gain of 5.2 percent YOY. And Google Cloud revenues surged 14.5 percent to $24.8 billion.
Google said in June that it was raising its AI infrastructure investments to $190 billion this year, over double what it spent a year ago. But it raised its estimate to as much as $205 billion and spent $44.92 in the June quarter alone. It is starting to see some momentum in AI, but mostly on the investment side: Its investments in Anthropic, SpaceX, and other companies accounted for $99 billion of its profits. The company added that the Gemini App has 950 million monthly active users, though it’s not clear how many are paying customers.
