As Sony gets ready to launch a ton of new content for PlayStation VR this year, the company is making the hardware more accessible to all PlayStation users. Starting tomorrow, PlayStation VR will be discounted by $100.
The price cut will bring the price of the PlayStation VR down to only $299 in the United States, and $379.99 CAD in Canada. For $299, you are getting the PlayStation VR headset, PlayStation Camera, and Doom VFR. Sony is also cutting $100 off the PlayStation VR Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim bundle, which will now be available for $349.99 in the United States and $449.99 CAD in Canada.

Sony says it will be significantly expanding the catalog of 220 PlayStation VR content by the end of this year by adding more than 180 games and experiences. As companies like Oculus and Google focus on portable, standalone VR experiences, it’s interesting to see Sony and Microsoft pushing head with full-fledged VR hardware.
