T-Mobile today announced its second device to support 5G. The company is partnering with OnePlus to exclusively sell the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren (yes, that name is a mouthful) in the United States, a new device that’s identical to the regular OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren but with 5G support.
T-Mobile is making a big deal out of the new device. The company says the device is “one of two” 5G phones launching this year that can make use of 5G on 600 MHz spectrum, with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G being the only other phone to support its new network.

The companies aren’t yet revealing the pricing and availability details for the device, though. T-Mobile says the company is planning to cover 200 million people in the US with its 5G on 600 MHz network before the end of this year in the United States.
“T-Mobile has always been a great partner, and T-Mobile’s expansive 5G network on the 600 MHz spectrum makes it the perfect opportunity for us to exclusively launch the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren in the United States,” said OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau. The device will still support the regular T-Mobile LTE network where the new 5G network is yet to be available.
