This Could Be Samsung’s Next-Gen Galaxy Fold

After the relaunch of the original Samsung Galaxy Fold, people have been waiting to see what Samsung has in store next. The company is already rumored to be working on its next foldable phone.

Back in September, for example, Bloomberg reported that Samsung is working on a new design for its next foldable phone, with the new device featuring a clamshell design.

And now, some new pictures of the device may have just leaked. Popular leaker Ice Universe tweeted pictures of the next-gen Galaxy Fold device on Twitter, though the pictures are from Chinese social media. The device on the picture is supposed to be Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Fold.

Here’s the thing, though: there is nothing that confirms that this is indeed the next-generation Galaxy Fold. It’s possible the device shown in the pictures is an early prototype or even a fake.

Either way, we know a couple of details about the next-gen Galaxy Fold already. Reports claimed that the next Galaxy Fold will feature a 6.7-inch display that folds inwards like a classic flip phone. When the device is folded, it turns into a pocketable square. The new device is expected to feature a thinner design, too.

The company is also said to be bringing a 108MP camera to the next Galaxy Fold, much like the upcoming Galaxy S11. Samsung is reportedly working with American designer Thom Browne on the new Galaxy Fold as well, and could offer it at a significantly more affordable price point than the original Galaxy Fold.
