OnePlus phones are pretty great for the most part, except the fact that its devices do not support wireless charging. OnePlus fans have long been complaining about the lack of wireless charging, with the company simply refusing to embrace wireless charging for the past few years.
As it turns out, though, that might change soon — for the better, of course.

OnePlus’ next phone, the OnePlus 8, might actually have wireless charging support. There have been a couple of rumours about the potential wireless charging support on the OnePlus 8, but there hasn’t been any concrete information to actually support that claim.
That’s kind of changed now, though: OnePlus has recently joined the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) which means it might finally start supporting wireless charging on its future phones. The phone maker is now listed as a full member of the WPC, as first spotted by MobileScout (via 9to5Google).
OnePlus joining WPC is a strong indicator that the company might finally be bringing wireless charging support with the OnePlus 8, but it is still not 100% confirmed, of course. We can’t really be sure until OnePlus officially announces wireless charging on the OnePlus 8. And considering OnePlus’ marketing tactics, you will definitely know when the company does eventually announce wireless charging support on the OnePlus 8.

I’m on my fourth oneplus handset now. The 7t I’m using these days has really great battery life and with dash charge it’s such a quick charge time. If they must introduce wireless charging then put in on the pro models only and price/feature accordingly.

for me I’d choose dash charge over wireless anytime.
