When it comes to new phones, Samsung is pretty bad at keeping secrets. Most of the time, when the company is about to announce a new flagship device, the world knows pretty much everything about that upcoming product ahead of the launch. And sometimes, we may even get some official commercials from the company.
That’s exactly what’s happened with the company’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip. Not too long ago, for example, we got the official renders for Samsung’s next foldable phone.

And this week, Samsung aired an official commercial during the Academy Awards, showing off the device in all its glory just days before the actual launch. In the video, we get to see the Galaxy Z Flip in Purple and Black, and the device looks absolutely gorgeous:

To recap, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip is expected to feature a glass display and a secondary display on the back for quick notifications. The device is expected to launch on Tuesday along with the new Galaxy S20 line at Samsung’s Unpacked event.
Update: Another new video of the Galaxy Z Flip has leaked, this time an interesting new intro video for what seems to be a premium designer edition of the device by Thom Browne. The designer edition of the device was first reported back in September, by the way, and it looks quite interesting.
