Lenovo’s ThinkPad line gets refreshed quite frequently, and this week the company is revealing the newly refreshed ThinkPad line. To be more precise, Lenovo is upgrading devices part of the ThinkPad T, ThinkPad L, and the ThinkPad X series.
“Across the board all the new ThinkPad’s feature the new simplified naming scheme by Series, Screen Size and Generationm” says Lenovo. The new upgrades are actually fairly minor, considering they are mostly spec upgrades and there aren’t any major new design changes.

The entire ThinkPad line now features Intel’s 10th gen Core vPro processors, and they also come with Wi-fi 6 connectivity. Lenovo will also offer the ability to choose AMD’s Ryzen PRO 4000 Mobile processor over the Intel 10th gen Core vPro processor for the ThinkPad T14s, T14, X13, L14, and L15 models. Details on the AMD variants will be available at a later date.
Like before, the refreshed ThinkPad line is very rugged as you would expect. All the devices undergo 12 Mil-Spec top-level tests and are tested under extreme cold, heat, vibration, humidity, shock, radiation, dust, and altitude conditions.
Lenovo has upgraded the Lenovo L series to be more portable. The new ThinkPad L14, L15, L13, and L13 Yoga are now thinner and lighter, with the L14 now being available with an aluminium top cover. These new devices also come with upgraded Dolby Audio and optional brighter touch display options.
ThinkPad T series, the ThinkPad X13, and the ThinkPad X13 Yoga also now offer brighter display panels, with options for Privacy Guard. And the ThinkPad 14 and 15 now come with Nvidia Geforce MX330 graphics options as well.
All the new devices will be available in Q2 2020, here are the “expected” pricing details:
