Acer Announces New PCs, Chromebooks, More

Acer announced new Swift and Spin laptops, ConceptD PCs, Chromebook, and more at a spring consumer launch event today.

Among the new devices are:

Swift 3 OLED. With a 16:10 14-inch OLED display, 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors, and two elegant color choices—Luxury Gold and Steel Gray—the Swift 3 OLED looks like a brilliant new entry in this best-selling product line.

Spin 5. The 14-inch Spin 5 is a convertible laptop with stylus support, a 16:10 WQXGA display, 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, and up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

Spin 3. Also a 14-inch convertible laptop, the Spin 3 offers stylus support, up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, and a 16:9 IPS display.

Aspire Vero. Acer’s Green PC is made with post-consumer recycled plastic. It’s fully upgradeable and user serviceable, contains no paint, and offers extreme battery savings when needed. It’s powered by 11th-Gen Intel Core processors and features a 15.6-inch Full HD display.

Aspire 5 (Intel and AMD). Powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA graphics or the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processors with Radeon, the Aspire 5 can be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB of storage (with dual SSDs), and a Full HD or Quad HD display.

TravelMate P4. Available in 16- and 14-inch variants, both with 16:10 displays, the TravelMate P4 can be configured with the latest Intel Core or AMD Ryzen PRO processors and offers quick charging, PCIe v4.0 SSD storage, and up to 13 hours of battery life.

TravelMate Spin P4. This 2-in-1 laptop can also be had with the latest Intel Core or AMD Ryzen PRO processors. It offers a 16:10 14-inch IPS display, Microsoft Secured-core (Pluton) compatibility, a discrete TPM 2.0 chipset, a fingerprint reader, and an IR camera with a privacy shutter.

TravelMate P2. This eco-friendly laptop contains ocean-bound plastic and is powered by Intel vPro with 12th Gen Intel Core processors.

Chromebooks. Acer announced several new Chromebooks, including the Acer Chromebook Spin 714 and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714, Acer Chromebook Spin 514 and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 514, and Acer Chromebook Tab 510 and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Tab 510.
