Lenovo Announces New Hybrid Work Solutions Ahead of CES

In addition to a new generation of ThinkPad X1-series laptops, Lenovo also announced complementary displays and other peripherals targeting hybrid work scenarios for 2023.

Here’s what’s coming in 2023:

Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam. This unique hybrid work solution combines a 4K/30 fps camera, an adjustable desk light with a rotatable arm, an expansion hub, and a Qi wireless charger in the base. The webcam supports autofocus, auto framing with a selectable field of view, and auto ambient light adjustment, and it features a physical privacy shutter. The light is adjustable, with three brightness settings. The USB-C hub features 135 watts of power input, a full-function 65-watt USB-C port with power passthrough for a laptop, two USB Type-A 3.1 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 port. The retractable 15-watt Qi charging pad and a 20-watt USB-C port on its front can power mobile devices. It will be available in March for $329.

Lenovo Professional Wireless Rechargeable Combo Keyboard and Mouse. This new desktop combo has integrated rechargeable batteries, a switch for connecting to up to three devices using either a dongle or dual Bluetooth, a near-silent typing experience, and mouse with eight buttons, five of which are programmable. The set arrives in January at $99.99.

ThinkVision Mini LED Monitors (P27pz-30 and P32pz-30). This line of mini-LED displays targets creative professionals and is available in 27- and 30-inch versions. They support HDR10, HLG, and the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, are DisplayHDR1000-certified, and can reach a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Both feature integrated USB4/Thunderbolt 4 docks with 140 watts of power delivery, with three USB-C, four USB-A, two HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, and Ethernet ports. Both arrive in August 2023. Pricing is TBD for the 27-inch version but the 30-inch version will start at $1599.

ThinkVision VoIP Monitors (T27hv-30, T24mv-30, and T24v-30). This family of 24- and 27-inch VoIP monitors offers integrated virtual meeting features like a 5 MP web camera with Windows Hello and a separate RGB lens and privacy shutter, built-in dual microphones with environmental noise cancellation, and two integrated 5-watt speakers. New to 2023 is a dedicated Microsoft Teams button, human detection and light sensors, and Eyesafe Certification 2.0 with natural low blue light technology. There is even a hook on the side to hang a pair of headphones, and a slot in the base for propping up a smartphone. The displays arrive in May 2023 with prices starting at $519, $399, and $259 respectively.

ThinkVision P32p-30 and P49w-30 Monitors. The ThinkVision P32p-30 is a 31.5-inch, 4K UHD monitor with three borderless sides, multiple connectivity options, and ThinkVision VoIP Modular Stack compatibility. The ThinkVision P49w-30 is an ultrawide, 49-inch, double QHD panoramic display with IPS Black technology, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 13 ports, including docking functionality with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and up to 100 watts of power delivery. You can even use both sides of the screen as two distinct workspaces, without extra cables, thanks to Lenovo’s eKVM and True Split features. The ThinkVision P32p-30 arrives in April 2023 with prices starting at $999. The ThinkVision P49w-30 arrives in June 2023 with prices starting at $1699.

Lenovo L27i-40 and L24m-40 Monitors. These new additions to Lenovo’s L-class monitor portfolio offer 24- and 27-inch IPS displays, enhanced audio and video with two integrated 3-watt speakers, and an expanded 99 percent sRGB color gamut. Each has two HDMI ports, a terrazzo base with a smartphone slot, and an open-space cut-out for storing things like pens and other essentials. Both arrive in Q3 2023, with prices starting at $199 and $219, respectively.
