New Roku Pro Series TVs Are Coming This Spring

Roku Pro Series TVs

After launching its first Roku Select and Roku Plus Series TVs last year, Roku has just revealed the more premium Roku Pro Series TVs, which are coming later this Spring. The new smart TVs will be available in 55”, 65”, and 75” sizes, all with 4K QLED displays and Mini-LED local dimming.

“Building on the success of our Roku Select and Plus Series TVs, the Roku Pro Series delivers a powerful, yet simple streaming experience with brilliant picture quality, immersive audio, and an elegant design to elevate what you’ve come to expect from a TV,” Roku said today.

Compared to the existing lineup of Roku-branded TVs, which include 11 models with screens ranging from 24” to 75”, the upcoming Roku Pro Series TVs will introduce a better audio experience and a more convenient flat design that will make the TVs look better when mounted on walls. Roku will also be launching its own mount for its new Pro Series TV this Spring.

The new smart TVs, which will be priced under $1,500, still run the same Roku operating system popularized by the company’s cheap streaming players. Later this Spring, all Roku TV models will also get support for Roku Smart Picture, a new feature designed to improve image quality with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Roku’s announcement comes just a couple of days ahead of CES 2024, where we should see many new smart TV models being introduced. While Roku is now following the same strategy as Amazon with its Fire TV smart TVs, both companies may still have a hard time competing with established TV brands such as Samsung or LG.
