Acer Announces New Laptops and Monitors Ahead of CES

Acer announced this morning several new products and monitors ahead of CES 2024. There are three new Swift laptops with Intel Core Ultra CPUs, a new “carbon neutral” Aspire Vero 16, more affordable Aspire Go laptops, as well as new curved OLED and MiniLED Predator monitors for gamers.

Acer Swift Go 14 and 16. The new Swift Go laptops, which come with a thin chassis that can be opened to 180 degrees, feature Intel “Meteor Lake” Core Ultra CPUs, and they also have the new dedicated Copilot keyboard key Microsoft announced earlier this week. Other highlights include OLED displays with an up to 120Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 7 certification, and bigger touchpads with a 44% larger scrolling space. The 14-inch model also has an optional multi-control lighting touchpad that supports direct media commands. The Acer Swift Go 14 and 16 will be available in North America in March starting at $749.99.

Acer Swift X 14. This premium laptop also comes with Intel’s latest Core Ultra CPUs, but content creators will also find up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPUs. Moreover, this “AI PC” comes with a Calman-Verified and Acer Light Sensing-
enhanced 2.8K OLED display. The Acer Swift X 14 will be available in North America in February, starting at $1,399.99.

Acer Aspire Vero 16. This is another new “AI PC” from Acer with an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, but with a carbon-neutral design. Compared to the previous model released back in 2021, Acer has doubled the usage of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials on the chassis. The laptop also comes with an OceanGlass touchpad made with ocean-bound plastic, a 1440p QHD webcam with Acer’s AI-assisted PurifiedVoice technology, and support for the upcoming Wi-Fi 7 standard. The Acer Aspire Vero 16 will be available in North America in April and start at $749.99.

Acer Aspire Go 14 and 15. The two new Aspire Go laptops are designed for students and families. They feature up to Intel Core i3 N-Series CPUs or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. Just like the Aspire Vero 16, they also come with a dedicated Copilot key and Acer’s PurifiedVoice technology that removes background noises during video calls. The Acer Aspire Go 15 will be available in North America in February (March for the Aspire Go 14), with prices starting at $249.99.

Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition. Acer is expanding its Stereoscopic 3D solutions with a new laptop with a 15.6-inch UHD IPS panel with 100% support for Adobe RGB color gamut. This display also lets users switch between 2D and 3D viewing modes, with Acer using proprietary AI models to transform 2D content such as photos and videos into 3D in real time. This laptop targets both designers and 3D enthusiasts, and it comes with up to an Intel Core i7 CPU, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPUs, and up to 32 GB of RAM. It will be available in North America in February starting at $1,399.99.

Acer Predator monitors. Acer announced several new Predator gaming monitors, including two MiniLED models with the flagship (and massive) 57-inch curved Predator Z57, and the smaller Predator X34 V3. There are also two new OLED models with the Predator X39 and the Predator X34 X, as well as the new Predator SpatialLabs View 27 if you’re interested in a 3D monitor. The latter will launch in North America in Q1 2024 and start at $1,999, and other models will follow in Q1 with prices starting at $1,299.99.

While CES 2024 doesn’t officially start until Tuesday, January 9, you can expect many companies to make announcements ahead of the debut of the annual trade show.
