Samsung Adds Galaxy S23 Series to its Certified Re-Newed Program in the U.S.

Samsung announced that customers in the U.S. can now purchase refurbished Galaxy S23 series devices in a variety of configurations.

“Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed program offers a like-new phone experience — backed by an extensive 147 point inspection, testing, and repurposed genuine parts, all assembled by Samsung technicians,” the Samsung press release notes. “Certified Re-Newed devices are built to last and come with the same year-long warranty offered on new Galaxy smartphones, plus a brand-new battery, and value pricing.”

Samsung is now offering the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra in refurbished form with nice discounts and a minimum guaranteed $300 trade-in value for your current handset. The S23 is available in Phantom Black for $619 (128 GB) or $669 (256 GB), the S23+ is available in Phantom Black for $769.00 (256 GB) or $869.00 (512GB), and the S23 Ultra is available in Phantom Black or Phantom Green for $919 (256 GB) or $1069 (512 GB). And that’s before the $300 trade-in.

Samsung is also offering older devices, like those in the Galaxy S22 ($529.00 and up) and Galaxy S21 ($449.00 and up) series. And, yes, these devices also qualify for that $300 minimum trade-in, plus the optional Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss for unlimited repairs on drops, spills, and mechanical breakdowns, theft and loss coverage, and same day replacements.
