AMD Revenues Up 32 Percent to $7.7 Billion

AMD announced that it earned a net income of $872 million on revenues of $7.7 billion in the quarter ending June 28, 2025. Those figures represent gains of 23 percent and 32 percent, respectively, year-over-year (YOY).

“We delivered strong revenue growth in the second quarter led by record server and PC processor sales,” AMD chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su said. “We are seeing robust demand across our computing and AI product portfolio and are well positioned to deliver significant growth in the second half of the year, driven by the ramp of our AMD Instinct MI350 series accelerators and ongoing EPYC and Ryzen processor share gains.”

AMD’s Client and Gaming segment was its biggest business in the quarter, with revenues of $3.6 billion, a gain of 69 percent YOY. Revenue from PC processors was a record $2.5 billion, up 67 percent YOY, thanks to strong demand for its latest generation Zen 5 chips. Gaming revenue was $1.1 billion, up 73 percent, thanks to “semi-custom revenue” (gaming consoles) and strong demand for AMD Radeon GPUs.

Data Center delivered another $3.2 billion in revenues, up 14 percent YOY, with demand for its datacenter chipsets outpacing the loss of China shipments thanks to U.S. export restrictions. And Embedded added $824 million in revenues, down 4 percent YOY, with “mixed” demand.
