Lenovo reported that it earned a net income of $389 million on revenues of $18.8 billion in the quarter ending June 30, 2025. Those figures represent gains of 108 percent and 22 percent, respectively, year-over-year (YOY).
“By leveraging the resilience and flexibility of our supply chain and operational excellence, we overcame challenges brought by tariff volatility and the geopolitical landscape and achieved significant growth in both top and bottom lines,” Lenovo chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang said. “These record Q1 results underscore our ability to deliver on our promise to preserve competitiveness and continuously grow our business.”
Lenovo has long been the world’s biggest PC maker by unit volume and revenues, and it increased its lead in the quarter by improving its market share to a record 24.6 percent. 30 percent of Lenovo’s PC shipments in the quarter were AI PCs, it says, and Lenovo is also number one in this premium market segment, with 31 percent market share.
Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) is responsible for those PC sales, and it experienced 18 percent revenue growth in the quarter, with $13.5 billion in revenues, its fastest rate of growth in 15 quarters. Lenovo says its PC business saw double-digit revenue growth in all geographies. Smartphone revenue was $2.2 billion, a gain of 14 percent YOY, thanks largely to the latest Motorola RAZR phone, which it says is the world’s best-selling foldable phone.
The company’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) added another $4.3 billion in revenues, up 36 percent YOY, with AI infrastructure revenues more than doubling YOY. And the Solutions and Services Group (SSG) business delivered a record $2.3 billion in revenues, up 20 percent YOY, with double-digit growth in support services and Infrastructure-as-a-service revenues.
Lenovo is now the 13th biggest technology company by revenues, and the 196th overall, having climbed 52 spots on the Fortune Global 500 List in the past year.
“Looking ahead, we will continue to firmly execute our hybrid AI strategy towards the vision of Smarter AI for all, relentlessly drive innovation in personal AI and enterprise AI products and solutions and consistently strengthen our operational competitiveness so that we can realize sustainable growth and profitability improvement,” Yang said.
