Google has just put the wraps off its 10th generation of Pixel phones, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel Pro Fold. The company also unveiled today new Qi2 Pixelsnap accessories, the Pixel Buds 2a, and the Pixel Watch 4.
All Pixel 10 phones are powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which is the first chip capable of running Google’s newest Gemini Nano model locally. The chip will enable new AI features such as Magic Cue, Voice Translate, Call Notes with actions, and Personal Journal, and it also comes with a new Image Signal Processor (ISP) to improve image and video quality. Moreover, Google promises over 24 hours of battery life on every Pixel 10 phone.
The Pixel 10 comes with a brighter 6.3-inch display (3000 maximum nits), improved speakers, and a triple rear camera system that includes a 48MP wide camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a new 10.8MP telephoto camera. The device comes with 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and it starts at $799.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL, which start at $999, come with 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch displays, respectively, 16GB of memory, and up to 1TB of storage. Their Pro triple rear camera system includes a 50MP wide camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera. The two devices can also shoot 8K video and reach up to 100x zoom with the Pro Res Zoom feature. The Pixel 10 Pro XL, which starts at $1,199, also supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging.
All three phones are available for pre-order starting today, and they will start shipping on August 28. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL owners will also get a full year of Google AI Pro.
Google’s latest foldable phone introduces a new gearless hinge that is said to be twice as durable as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s hinge. This is also the first foldable device to come with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, just like other Pixel 10 phones.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with a larger and more durable 8-inch inner display, with Google promising over 10 years of folding. The 6.4-inch outer display is also slightly bigger thanks to thinner bezels.
Just like the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel Pro Fold offers 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage, but its triple rear camera system is different: There’s a 48MP wide sensor, a 10.5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. A new Instant View feature also makes it possible to preview recently captured photos and videos alongside the viewfinder when the phone is unfolded.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is available for pre-order today from $1,799, and it will start shipping on October 9.
Google is launching new magnetic Pixelsnap accessories that support the Qi2 universal wireless charging standard. Pixelsnap is pretty much Google’s answer to Apple’s MagSafe brand, and Pixel 10 phones are actually compatible with MagSafe accessories. Google is also launching Pixelsnap cases to protect its latest phones while adding Pixelsnap compatibility.
The Pixelsnap Charger, which is available with or without a stand, can charge the Pixel 10 Pro XL at up to 25W, and the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro Fold at up to 15W. There’s also a $29.99 Pixelsnap Ring stand that magnetically snaps onto Pixel phones for hands-free viewing.

Google’s latest WearOS smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, which adds support for emergency satellite communication. The Pixel Watch 4 has also been redesigned with a physically curved domed display that’s 50% brighter than the previous model.
Other hardware changes include a 15% stronger haptic engine and a bigger battery that should last up to 25% longer. Both the display and the battery can be replaced, which is also a first for the Pixel Watch series.
On the software front, the Pixel Watch 4 introduces more accurate sleep tracking, skin temperature sensing, and route tracking technologies. The new smartwatch now uses AI to automatically detect and classify activities, and there are also new Exercise modes, including pickleball and basketball. Lastly, a new personal AI health coach will launch in preview in the US in October alongside a redesigned Fitbit app.
The Pixel Watch 4 will start at $349 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, with the 45mm version starting at $399. Both models are available for pre-order today, and they will start shipping on October 9.
Google’s new A-series buds add support for Active Noise Cancellation for the first time, and they’re also smaller and lighter than the previous model. Their design is inspired by the Pixel Buds Pro 2, with four eartips and support for IP54 sweat and water resistance.
“Our audio performance takes a significant leap forward with a custom-designed speaker driver and new high-frequency chamber, ensuring your music and podcasts sound incredible. And thanks to wind-blocking mesh covers and Google AI, you can expect clear call quality for both you and your caller,” Google explained today.
Google promises up to 7 hours of listening when Active Noise Cancellation is on, and twice the listening time of the first-generation Pixel Buds A-series when the feature is off. Batteries are also replaceable, just like on the Pixel Watch 4.
The Pixel Buds 2a can be pre-ordered today for $129, and they will also start shipping on October 9. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are also available to pre-order in a new Moonstone color today, with shipments starting on August 28.
