Samsung Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy Tab A11+ Arrive Next Week

Samsung announced that its Galaxy A17 5G smartphone and Galaxy Tab A11+ tab;et will arrive next week with entry-level pricing.

“As the starting point for the Galaxy smartphone experience, Galaxy A17 5G introduces several updates for the Galaxy A series including improved cameras, enhanced durability, and innovative AI experiences,” the announcement explains. “Galaxy Tab A11+ is a do-it-all device offering excellent performance for everyday use. Designed to fit a wide range of needs, it’s a great option for a shared device with features to keep everyone in the house connected.”

The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G will cost just $199 when it arrives on January 7. It provides an Exynos 1330 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, a large 5000 mAh battery that can charge to 50 percent in 30 minutes using a 25-watt power adapter, a three-lens rear camera system, and IP54 dust and water protection. And you will get six years of Android OS, One UI, and security updates.

The Galaxy A17 5G will be available at AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Verizon, Samsung Experience Stores, and other retailers in Black, Blue, and Gray.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ will start at $249.99; it arrives January 8. It provides a MediaTek MT8775 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, microSD storage up to 2 TB, an 11-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, a 3.5-mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and fast charging with a 25-watt power adapter. There’s also an optional Book Cover for freestanding viewing in landscape and portrait orientations.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ will be available in Gray and Silver.
