Intel Revenues Decline 4 Percent to $13.7 Billion

So much for that turnaround. Intel reported a net loss of $600 million on revenues of $13.7 billion in the quarter ending December 27, 2025. In the year-ago quarter, the one-time microprocessor giant posted a net loss of $100 million on revenues of $14.3 billion. So its loss is 600 percent greater than it was a year ago, while revenues fell 4 percent year-over-year (YOY).

Intel also reported earnings for its fiscal year: A net loss of $300 million on revenues of $52.9 billion, the latter of which is flat YOY.

“Our conviction in the essential role of CPUs in the AI era continues to grow,” Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said. “We delivered a solid finish to the year and made progress on our journey to build a new Intel. The introduction of our first products on Intel 18A, the most advanced process technology developed and manufactured in the United States, marks an important milestone, and we’re working aggressively to grow supply to meet strong customer demand. Our priorities are clear: Sharpen execution, reinvigorate engineering excellence, and fully capitalize on the vast opportunity AI presents across all of our businesses.”

Intel reorganized some of its businesses last year, but its Client Computing Group, responsible for PC microprocessor sales, reported revenues of $8.2 billion in the quarter, a decline of 7 percent YOY, and annual revenues of $32.2 billion, a decline of 3 percent YOY.

Intel’s Data Center and AI business performed better, with $4.7 billion in revenues in the quarter, up 9 percent YOY, and $16.9 billion in revenues in the year, up 5 percent YOY.

Intel Foundry, which is reported like a separate business, delivered $4.5 billion in revenues in the quarter, up 4 percent YOY, and $17.8 billion in revenues in the year, up 3 percent YOY.

But the bigger issue for Intel is a familiar one: It warned that the current quarter would be less than expectations. That, plus the soft quarterly and annual results, triggered a 10 percent decline in Intel’s stock price.
