Microsoft is releasing a number of firmware updates for almost the entire Surface lineup this month. The company seems to have pushed out new firmware updates for a number of Surface devices last week. The release of the firmware updates come ahead of the release of the upcoming Windows 10 May 2019 Update. And although the changelogs do not have anything to do with the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, they could come with minor stability improvements in preparation for the next major Windows 10 update.

Here’s the changelog for some of the updates:

Surface Studio 2

Almost all the latest gen Surface devices have received the new updates, apart from the Surface Go. Microsoft has also released updates for the original Surface Studio, the 5th gen Surface Pro, the original Surface Laptop, Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 3, and Surface 3, as first reported by WBI.

That’s a whole lot of updates, so if you own any of the devices, make sure you are up to date.
