Microsoft’s Latest Surface Collaboration Comes With Some Really Pretty Skins

Microsoft is opening the first ever Microsoft Store in London this Thursday. Ahead of the launch, the company has teamed up with iconic London-based design store Liberty London for some exclusive Surface skins.

The collaboration comes with a bunch of really colorful skins that will give your Surface a look we have never seen before. The luxury skins, which you can see above, feature a limited-edition design that brightens up the look of Surface devices.

“The pattern is a nod to the heritage of both of the brands, combining archive prints from 1875, Liberty’s its opening year 1875, and floral patterns from 1975, the year that Microsoft was founded,” says Stylist, reporting on the new collaboration.

You won’t be able to get these new skins easily, though. In fact, the patterns will be hand-printed on Microsoft Surface covers that will be free to the first 100 customers who purchase a Surface Pro 6 at the new Microsoft Store. And the rest of the devices will be sold as part of an online charity auction on eBay, with all the proceeds going to SpecialEffect, a charity that helps people with disabilities to enjoy video games.

In all honesty, these designs look incredible. It just gives the Surface devices a really unique and fun look that we haven’t quite seen before anywhere else. I wish these were more widely available, though.
