Lenovo Introduces New Creator Line of Computers for Content Creators

Lenovo is introducing a new series of consumer-focused devices at CES 2020 this week. The company today announced the new Creator series, which features laptops, tower PCs, and monitors built for content creators.

First device part of the line is Lenovo’s Yoga Creator 7. The device comes with up to the 10th gen Intel Core i7 processor, a 15.6-inch Full HD display, and Dolby Atmos Speakers. The device also features Lenovo’s Smart Assist features and Modern Standby, with built-in Amazon Alexa integration. Lenovo isn’t revealing many details about the Yoga Creator 7, including details on the hardware, or how much it will cost and when it will be available. The company did say, however, that the device will offer up to 13 hours of battery life.

There’s also the new IdeaPad Creator 5. Lenovo is introducing the device as a “mainstream laptop that can get you there faster and at a reasonable price”. The new device is powered by Intel’s 10th gen Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GPUs, and Dolby Sound. The device features a 15.6-inch Full HD display and offers up to 8 hours of battery life. This product seems to be more focused on content creators that need do video editing, though Lenovo hasn’t released details on the hardware, price, or availability of the device just yet.

And then there’s the IdeaCentre Creator 5, a classic tower PC starting at $1,099. Available in October 2020, the new device comes with up to the 10thgen Intel Core i9 processor, RTX 2060 GPU from Nvidia, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage. “The Lenovo IdeaCentre Creator 5 is our contemporary, multipurpose desktop PC offering content creators the silent operating thermals they need as they unleash their creativity,” Lenovo said in a press release.

The company is also releasing the Qreator 27 monitor and Q27h monitor along with the new Creator series.
