Microsoft’s New Windows Ugly Sweater Pays Homage to Windows XP’s Bliss Wallpaper

Windows Ugly Sweater Windows XP Bliss

This has now become a tradition during the holiday season, but Microsoft has just revealed another Windows Ugly Sweater that you can purchase and wear proudly to impress your geeky friends. This year’s ugly sweater is an homage to Windows XP’s cult-classic Bliss wallpaper, and it will once again be available in limited quantities.

“This holiday season, Windows is bringing a touch of nostalgia to its ugly sweaters by going back to the early 2000s in the Time of XP. This year’s sweater features the iconic Bliss backdrop from Windows XP, which is a photograph of a green hill and blue sky with white clouds in Sonoma County, California,” the Windows team wrote today.

If you prefer a more discreet way to go back to the early 2000s, Microsoft also made its iconic Bliss wallpaper and stylized versions of it available to download for your desktop and mobile devices. You can also get these wallpapers from the Xbox Gear Shop page.
