Vivaldi 6.7 Arrives on Android, iPhone, and iPad

Vivaldi 6.7 delivers several improvements on Android and iOS, but it’s particularly interesting on iPad thanks to its support for multiple browser windows.

“Vivaldi makes your browsing even more powerful and personal with updates to some of its key features,” Vivaldi co-founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner writes in the iOS announcement post. “You can now use multiple Vivaldi windows on iPad, set the sorting order for Notes and Bookmarks, and Force Dark Theme now follows your system color scheme.”

Vivaldi 6.7 arrives on mobile one week after the desktop version that added a new Memory Saver feature and improvements to Auto Feed Detection.

Key upgrades to Vivaldi on iPhone and iPad include support for multiple, resizable windows and the always-on-top Slide Over Mode on iPad, sorting across Notes, Bookmarks, and Speed Dial (with syncing to other Vivaldi clients), and a new Force Dark Mode feature for Auto Mode that follows your system color scheme when you use the automatic browser theme color. On Android (and Chromebooks), Vivaldi 6.7 adds improvements to language translations in Vivaldi Translate, its built-in Tracker and Ad Blocker feature, and the Bookmarks Manager, which now shows folders first by default. You can download Vivaldi for Android and Chromebook from the Google Play Store.
