Vivaldi 7.7 Arrives on Mobile

One week after its release on the desktop, Vivaldi 7.7 is here for Android, iPhone, and iPad.

“Vivaldi 7.7 for Mobile is here, and for our Android users, this one’s special: the features you’ve been requesting most,” Vivaldi co-founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner writes. “We’ve been listening, and this release is our answer.”

Here’s what’s new.

Android

Custom search. You can now add custom search engines to Vivaldi on Android, including individual site search: Just long-press the search box on a website and choose “Add as Search Engine.”

Bookmark import. Vivaldi for Android already supported bookmark exporting, but now you can import as well, making it easier to switch from another web browser.

Dark mode improvements. Vivaldi has fine-tuned Dark mode to make it easier on the eyes, and it has returned the “Dark mode” toggle to the main menu.

You can download Vivaldi for Android from the Google Play Store.

iPhone and iPad

“iOS users, we’ve got you covered too with improvements for iOS 26 compatibility,” von Tetzchner writes. “We spent time under the hood so Vivaldi feels steadier and quicker across more devices. Small improvements add up to a smoother day, keeping Vivaldi running smoothly on the latest Apple has to offer.”

You can download Vivaldi for iPhone or iPad from the Apple App Store.
