OnePlus Brings 5G to the Low-End with Nord N200 5G

OnePlus today announced the Nord N200 5G, a low-end 5G capable smartphone for the North American market.

“OnePlus has never stopped delivering cutting-edge technology that puts our users’ experience at the forefront,” OnePlus found and CEO Pete Lau writes. “Accessibility to premium technology is a part of that philosophy. The OnePlus Nord N200 5G offers an optimum burdenless mobile experience at an even more accessible price point.”

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G is an interesting mix of components. It features premium components like 5G and a 6.49-inch 90Hz Full HD display, and it has a very large 5000 mAh battery, but it’s based on the low-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset and comes with only 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In the good news department, the storage is expandable, a capability that OnePlus doesn’t offer in its flagship-class smartphones. It also includes a triple-lens system with a 13 MP main lens.

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G will be exclusively available in the U.S. at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile as the exclusive wireless partner. It will also be available for purchase at Best Buy, Amazon, and B&H. It will retail for $240 in the U.S.
