Google announced today that it has delivered Android 13 Beta 4, the final pre-release version before the final release.
“We’re just a few weeks away from the official release of Android 13,” Google’s Maru Ahues Bouza, Director writes in the announcement post. (Where’s Dave Burke?) “As we put the finishing touches on the next version of Android, today we’re bringing you Beta 4, a final update for your testing and development. Now is the time to make sure your apps are ready.”

New features in Beta 4 include “a release candidate build of Android 13 for Pixel devices and the Android Emulator,” and the latest fixes and optimizations. Google now requests that all app and game developers complete their final compatibility testing and publish compatibility updates ahead of the final release.
Android 13 Beta 4 will be delivered over-the-air to any Pixel devices that are already receiving pre-release builds, but Google is also opening up testing to more third-party devices with this release. You can learn more here.
