Google Pixel Fold Leaks in Full

With just two and a half weeks to go until its formal announcement, the Google Pixel Fold has fully leaked, with a complete look at its specifications and, sadly, some rather large display bezels.

The latest set of leaks follows the 2022 design renders leak and the more recent blockbuster from CNBC that detailed the Pixel Fold’s key specifications, pricing, and free Pixel Watch perk for early adopters.

The first is from Jon Prosser, who confirmed the $1799 price tag and May 30 availability, but added that this configuration includes 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and will come in Chalk and Obsidian colors. A 512 GB configuration will cost $1919 and will only be made available in Obsidian, he said. And that Pixel Watch perk? It’s only for those who preorder the device from Google.

Prosser also provided more information about the device’s specifications, which include 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, like the Pixel 7 Pro, a 5.8-inch Full HD+ OLED outer display with a resolution of 2092 × 1080 (408 ppi), and a 7.6-inch internal OLED folding display with a 6:5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2208 × 1840 (380 ppi). Both displays run at 120 Hz and the folding display is protected by plastic.

From a camera perspective, the Pixel Fold will sit somewhere between the Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel 7 in that it will feature a triple lens rear setup but in a slightly less powerful configuration: there’s a 48 MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 10.8 MP telephoto lens with an f/3.05 aperture, 5x optical zoom, and up to 20x digital zoom, and a 10.8 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 121.1-degree field of view. There’s also a 9.5 MP front-facing selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus and an 8 MP inner selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus.

The second leak is a video from Kuba Wojciechowski that shows off the Pixel Fold’s folding display, and the bezels are disappointingly big and look like something Microsoft would make.

Google will announce the Pixel Fold alongside the Pixel 7a and the availability of the Pixel Tablet at Google I/O on May 10.
