
Microsoft is killing its Lens mobile app and recommends that users switch to its Microsoft 365 Copilot app instead. But there are many mobile scanning solutions out there. Including Google Drive, which is getting a new document scanning experience on Android this month.
When scanning documents with Google Drive on your mobile device, you can crop or rotate your file, adjust its color by applying filters, erase shadows, and more,” the Google Workspace Updates blog explains. “This week, we’re excited to introduce updates to adjustment options to provide you with a seamless and improved user experience while editing scanned documents.”

Google is rolling out this new experience in the Drive mobile app on Android starting today across personal Google accounts and all Workspace customers, including Workplace Individual subscribers.
