
In addition to today’s release of Android 17, Pixel users are getting the June 2026 Pixel Drop with numerous new features across supported phones and smartwatches.
Here’s what’s new.
Pixel phones
In addition to the new features introduced in Android 17, those with supported Pixel phones will get the following features in the June 2026 Pixel Drop:
- Gemini Omni, a Gemini Pro exclusive feature that lets you create and edit video using Gemini AI and simple prompts.
- Lyria 3, which that lets you use text prompts or images to create and customize music with AI with custom styles, vocals, tempo, and more.
- Google Photos conversational editing is now available on Pixel 6 and newer and expanding to France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.

- Voice Translate expands to Pixel 10a.

- Manual Call Screen expands to India on Pixel 6 and newer.
- Quick Share with AirDrop compatibility expands to Pixel 8a and Pixel 9a globally.
- Magic Cue comes to additional messaging apps in a few weeks with contextual, time-saving suggestions.
- Take a Message was introduced last year to help Pixel users (on Pixel 6 or newer) manage missed or declined calls with real-time transcripts and AI-generated follow-ups. Now, it’s expanding to new markets and adding a new Custom Greeting feature so you can record personalized outgoing messages.
Pixel Watch
Pixel Watch is getting Emergency Detection integration with customized emergency contact notifications in three core detection features:
- Fall Detection on all Pixel Watch models.
- Loss of Pulse Detection on Pixel Watch 3 and 4.
- Car Crash Detection on Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4.
