Key updates include:
Windows game improvements. Parallels Desktop already lets Apple Silicon-based Mac owners play hundreds of (non-DirectX 12) Windows games, but this update fixes graphics rendering issues in Genshin Impact, Rise of Kingdoms, and Dark Souls II.
Clipboard improvements. This update brings new Clipboard synchronization modes to Parallels Desktop Pro and Business, aimed at improving data security for business customers. These include Mac to Windows only and Windows to Mac only. You can also disable Clipboard synchronization. (And these changes work with Linux VMs as well.)
Smoother touchpad scrolling with Linux. This update significantly improves the scrolling experience with Linux when using a touchpad, and it works on both Intel- and Apple Silicon-based Macs.
Express Ubuntu installation. You can now install Ubuntu Linux with one click using the Express Installation option. All you need to do is supply a username and password.
Virtual macOS improvements. Parallels Desktop can run macOS VMs on Apple Silicon Mac using Apple’s macOS Framework, and this update provides a configuration tuning UI and better keyboard integration.
