You Can Now Preorder Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, and Microsoft Band 2

Just days after Microsoft announced the Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, and Microsoft Band 2, you can now preorder these new devices with delivery expected later in October. No word yet on the new Lumias, however.

I normally recommend doing so from Amazon if possible, because the online retailer is much better about shipping things out on a predictable schedule. But there is one great reason to shop at the Microsoft Store online this go-round: With Surface Pro 4, you can now custom-configure the device with whatever processor, RAM, and storage you want. So you are no longer stuck with just the pre-configured models.

Here’s what’s available and when you can get it.

Microsoft Band 2

Microsoft Band 2 is available now in Small, Medium and Large sizes, and the sizes are thankfully a bit bigger this time around so you may want to check your size again to be sure. Pricing is $250 for each.

Pre-order Microsoft Band 2 (Small)
Pre-order Microsoft Band 2 (Medium)
Pre-order Microsoft Band 2 (Large)

Each arrives on October 30, 2015 (U.S. only, with additional countries and regions to follow).

Surface Book

The new Surface Book premium laptop comes in several pre-built configurations (with and without discrete graphics), some of which include:

Surface Book (Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD) – $1499
Surface Book (Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) – $1899
Surface Book (Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) – $2699

Or you can shop at the Microsoft Store online and choose from additional configurations. Surface Book comes with its keyboard base (of course) an a Surface Pen, so there is nothing else to buy.

Each arrives on October 26, 2015 in the U.S. and Canada.

Surface Pro 4

Surface Pro 4 is available in a number of pre-build configurations, some of which include:

Surface Pro 4 (Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD) – $999.00
Surface Pro 4 (Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) – $1299
Surface Pro 4 (Core i7, 4 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) – $2,199

Or you can shop at the Microsoft Store online and customize the Surface Pro 4with your own processor, memory and storage choices.

Remember that you will also need a Surface Pro 4 Type Cover, which costs $130 and comes in black, blue, bright blue, red, teal (new), or onyx (new). And if you’re a Surface Pro 3 user, you might consider the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover with Fingerprint ID, which costs $160, and only comes in black.

Each arrives on October 26, 2015 in the U.S. and Canada.

Surface Dock

Microsoft’s new Surface Dock costs $200 and will ship by October 26.
