Microsoft’s most affordable Surface device, Surface Go, is now available in a new LTE Advanced variant. Redmond today announced that it’s launching the LTE version of the Surface Go, allowing users to connect to the internet without needing a WiFi connection. The price is $679.
Microsoft is targetting the Surface Go at Firstline Workers and business customers that need an internet connection on the go. The device comes with Windows 10 Pro for commercial customers and packs the same power as the regular Surface Go.
You can get LTE connectivity with a nano-SIM. The device comes with a 10-inch PixelSense display, offers up to 8.5 hours of battery life, comes with up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 7th generation Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor.
This is essentially just the Surface Go as you know it, but with the ability to put in a SIM and get LTE connectivity on the go. Surface Go with LTE Advanced is available now in the US for $679 to consumers and $729 to commercial customers. It will be available in 23 markets by November 22.
