The Surface Duo isn’t a phone, Microsoft tells us. But you can download its, um, ringtone now from the USPTO website.
As Rich Woods notes over on Neowin, the Surface Duo ringtone was first heard back in October when Microsoft showed a promotional video for its upcoming dual-screen devices, the Surface Neo and Duo, at its annual hardware event.
That ringtone, obviously from a phone, was how we found out for the first time that Microsoft wasn’t just making a dual-screen PC, the Neo. It was also making a dual-screen phone, based on Android, called Duo.
Which isn’t a phone. But whatever.
