Installed on my sp3 this morning, wifi performance seems to be far better, more reliable and I don't "appear" to have the reconnect issue when coming back from sleep/connected standby. Now I just need monitor independent scaling and I'll be happy with my sp3.

Amen, Brothers. The Hyper-V/sleep issue does seem to be addressed now, hooray! Seems like this round of firmware updates is making a more tangible difference. It was interesting to watch as the device went through the update process: it looked like it rebooted perhaps half-a-dozen times while applying those updates. While I've got your eye(s), can anyone tell me if the SP3 in its dock will drive a Dell UltraSharp 32 Ultra HD monitor? With a resolution of 3,840x2,160 I'm not sure the IntelHD graphics are up to that pixel space. [Added note}: Paul: found your docking station review (http://winsupersite.com/mobile-devices/microsoft-details-surface-pro-3docking-station-external-display-support), found the MS Suneel Goud article (http://blog.surface.com/2014/08/surfacepro3dock-canada-us/), got my answers, and now I have to approach "The Chancellor of the Exchequer" (my wife, Dina) to see if I can get permission to spring for that beautiful but costly monitor. Thanks for answering my question before I even knew I needed it!
