Microsoft delivered separate firmware updates for Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 this evening, the second time its done so this month. But both updates are minor, and do not address the glaring reliability issues users have reported with both machines.
As is the norm, Microsoft has not yet documented what’s in the updates on its Surface Support site. But a post to Microsoft’s forums provides the answer, at least according to Windows Central. And as with all previous Surface Book and Pro 4 firmware updates, each is essentially the same fix:
