Microsoft Issues Major Set of Firmware Updates for Surface Book, Surface Pro 4

Just days after releasing an important Intel graphics driver update for its Surface Book and Surface Pro 4, Microsoft issued a major set of firmware updates for both devices as well.

Surface Book

The Surface Book updates, dated July 14, include:

Microsoft driver update for Surface System Aggregator Firmware. Surface System Aggregator Firmware 88.1226.257.0 improves the stability of the keyboard when the device resumes from hibernation or connected standby mode.

Microsoft driver update for Surface Touch. Surface Touch 51.250.94.229 increases overall stability and addresses issues in touch, pen ink, and barrel button eraser scenarios.

Intel Corporation driver update for IntelHD Graphics 520. Just updated, Intel HD Graphics 520 20.19.15.4463 improves system performance in some applications.

Microsoft driver update for Surface Pen Settings.Surface Pen Settings 12.0.303.1 improves the stability of the pen settings and prepares for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST) Audio Controller. Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST) Audio Controller 8.20.0.931 improves audio stability.
