Netflix is rolling out a new update to its app on TVs with a new feature. Variety is reporting that the company has started rolling out a new Latest section on its app for smart TVs, streaming devices, and gaming consoles on Monday afternoon.

The new Latest section within Netflix is similar to the Coming Soon feature that’s already available on Netflix’s Android app. The new area highlights the newest releases on Netflix, including new Netflix Originals, other shows, and movies. The feature not only shows movies that have already been released but also shows that are coming this week, allowing you to get reminded when the show/movie is actually released.

The idea of the new Latest section is to allow users to find new content on Netflix and discover new releases much more easily. Right now, that’s a little hard on the main Netflix homepage. The new Latest section will be updated multiples a day, and Netflix says the collection is personalized for each user.

Netflix is testing a similar feature for its iOS app, too.

It’s always been a bit difficult to find new releases on Netflix, so this is a pretty neat way of discovering new content. And that’s crucial for Netflix at a time where two big competitors like Apple and Disney are entering the market. Everyone is focused on the content catalog for all these services, and Netflix definitely has an edge over its competitors, so it’s important for the firm to highlight that with new content.
