Spotify is rolling out a new update to its mobile app for iOS users. The company is introducing a revamped look for Spotify on iOS that simplifies a number of things around the app.
The new update for the Spotify mobile app is only rolling out to iOS users, and I assume it will be making its way to Android users later on.

Spotify’s revamped look introduces a new interface for things like artist profiles. The company is introducing a new “shuffle play” icon, for example. There are also new icons for like, play, and download — all grouped together in a row.
And yes, that doesn’t sound like a big update — but there’s actually been a massive improvement in terms of usability. You see, previously the “…” menu and the “Follow” button and a couple of other buttons were at the top-right-hand side of the screen, and that made it harder to access those buttons when you are using your phone one-handed. And with the new design, these features are much easier to access, so I’m actually very pleased to see these changes.
Spotify is also rolling out a new interface for track lists, which now shows the cover art next to the song details, as well as a “liked” icon for tracks you have already liked.
