New features this year include:

Moving Elements. Using AI, Photoshop Elements can now add moving elements to still photos to create unique new animated GIFs and MP4 videos.

Updated creative content. Adobe provides new backgrounds, patterns, and skies for those making photo creations. There are also new collage and slideshow templates.

Peek-through Overlays. This new feature helps you create the illusion of depth in photos.

New audio tracks. Premiere Elements includes over 100 new audio tracks so you can choose the perfect soundtrack for everything from home movies to class projects.

Improved performance and reduced app size. The app offers improved performance and stability, with up to 35 percent faster installation, 50 percent faster launch times, a 48 percent reduction in app size, and up to 70 percent faster launch times on M1-powered Macs.

New mobile companion app. Available in an English-only beta at first, this app helps customers to access their photo and video collections on the go, upload content to the cloud, and assist in the creation and editing of photos and videos on the desktop.

New web companion app. Also available in an English-only beta at first, the new web companion app helps you share and view edited photos and videos, and create photo collages and multimedia slideshows.
