
Netflix is raising prices for its streaming service in the United States by $1 to $2 per month per tier. This is the second price hike in little over a year: Netflix last raised prices in the U.S. in January 2025.
There’s no press release or blog-based announcement, but you can see the new prices on the Netflix Help Center. “We continue offering a range of prices and plans to meet a variety of needs,” the company said in a statement.
Netflix Standard with ads was $7.99 per month and you could add one additional member for $6.99 per month; it’s now $8.99 per month with an additional member costing $7.99 per month.
Netflix Standard was $17.99 per month and you could add another member for $8.99 per month; it’s now $19.99 per month with an additional member costing $9.99 per month.
Netflix Premium was $24.99 per month and you could add up to two additional members for $6.99 per member per month with ads or $8.99 without ads. Now, this tier costs $26.99 per month and you can add up to two additional members for $7.99 per member per month with ads or $9.99 without ads.
The new prices will impact new subscribers immediately. Existing subscribers will be notified via email one month before the new prices take effect for them.
